Post No. SSCF0223 - Assistant Team Manager - Children and Families Services
We are looking to recruit a full-time Assistant Team Manager to join our Safeguarding Hub on a permanent basis.
You will provide a mentoring role to Social Work colleagues through assistance with complex cases and support the professional development of Social Work assistants. You will be skilled in developing and sustaining effective multi-agency links across a range of professional groups. The Safeguarding Hub post will involve responsibility for decision-making and daily allocations. You will provide high quality assessment and help form appropriate care plans and interventions for families. You will also be required to mentor and assist in the training and development of Social Workers undertaking complex assessments for court and as part of the PLO processes. You will be highly motivated, focused on providing high quality, timely and effective practice and interventions to children "at risk" or "in need of care and support" in the community. You will be part of a highly supportive environment and have good access to training and development opportunities.

For this role you will be a practitioner with a professional social work qualification, DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent and registered with the Care Council Wales (or able to transfer from HCPC or similarly recognised body)
