We are looking for staff who have the right values, motivation and commitment to work in this rewarding yet challenging role. You will become part of a team providing a stimulating, nurturing environment to enable our children to reach their full potential.
We are recruiting a night care officer to work at one of our homes. You will work a 34-hour contract with shifts that run 22.45 till 08.15am on a 2-week rota with the option for additional hours to be taken on. Our service runs 365 days a year, 24 hour a day and you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
Experience of working in residential homes would be preferable but we also recognise that individuals come with a wide range of experiences and transferable skills and so it is not essential. We offer an excellent induction and training package, including supporting you to attain a level 3 qualification in working with Children and Young people, if you do not already have this. We also provide training and support to enable you to work in a trauma & attachment focussed way and provide children with the much-needed support, and the opportunity for you to be able to build a healthy & positive relationship, which can result in you, having the biggest and most rewarding impact on the child’s life.
