The children, staff and Governing Body of Tredegar Park Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join the school team.
We are looking for someone with passion and dedication in order to help us on our journey to provide the best quality education for all at Tredegar Park Primary School. The successful candidate will teach many classes to cover PPA. This cover will mainly be based in the lower school but there will be cover in the upper school also.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on Forest School. We are very fortunate to have an extensive Forest School within our school grounds. As part of our curriculum, our children visit the Forest School on a weekly basis to learn life skills and to get creative through the different months of the year.
As part of the role, the successful candidate will teach Forest School, Read Write Inc and Jigsaw lessons amongst other things.
PPA time will be given to prepare lessons each week. As Forest School is well-embedded across the school, lots of planning documents have already been produced. However, it will be the responsibility of the HLTA to ensure that the planning meets the needs of the classes taught and adaptations to planning will need to be made to ensure that learning opportunities are not missed.
