The Headteacher and Governing Body at Clytha Primary School are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our happy school. This will be a Fixed Term Contract. A Midday Supervisors’ typicial duties are monitoring lunches, clearing food trays, cleaning tables and supporting children both whilst eating their dinner and when they go out to play. Our Midday Superviser plays with the children and helps set up the hall for lunchtimes. Lunchtimes are busy and occasionally children fall and hurt themselves and our Midday Superviser is first-aid trained and able to suipport with monor accidents. Full training for this role will be organised, if successful.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
The post is offered on a part time basis of 6 hours and 15 minutes per week, over 38 weeks per year (term time only). Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 12.25pm till 1.40pm. Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods. There is also an expectation that you would attend any essential training sessions such as Safeguarding, Team Teach or First Aid.
