Rogerstone Primary School has a vacancy for a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one/small group basis with pupils who have additional learning needs.
You will provide support for the class teacher, pupils, curriculum and school as per the Level 1 Job Description.
Working in conjunction with the class teacher and providing support on a one to one/small group basis, the main duties will involve:
• Delivering learning programs identified in individual learning plans• Providing support for pupils in class, under the guidance of the teacher• Supervision at break and lunch time

The fixed term position is offered as follows:
32 ½ hours per week, for 39 weeks of the year (term time only). You will be required to work 8.30-3.15 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8.30-4.30 Wednesday to attend staff meetings.
This appointment is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check. You will also be required to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
